Tonight my good friend Drew Hamilton and I poured ourselves a couple of vodkas and sat down to talk about all things Anna Karenina: the original Tolstoy novel, the 1927 silent, the 1935 Greta Garbo version, the 1948 Vivien Leigh version, and the just-released 2012 version starring Keira Knightley. Of course, Drew and I can’t stay on topic for long. Jokes are cracked, vodka is drunk, and Russian literature is explained! (And at one point, Drew fires off as many baking puns as he can to derail my argument.) Enjoy!
