About WRM

About the Blog:

Everyone complains constantly that Hollywood hasn’t had an original idea for a long time. But how true is that? And how long has this trend existed? The goal of this blog is to review the re-used, those films based on previous works that Hollywood has re-imagined and recycled. All adaptations, sequels, and remakes are fair game, from the silent era to the present day.

Have a suggestion for a movie we should watch? Find We Recycle Movies on Facebook or leave your suggestion in the comments section!

About the Author:

Anne Marie is a film geek living in the capital of film geeks: Hollywood, CA! Her love of the Golden Age of Hollywood began as childhood adulation of Katherine Hepburn and the Marx Brothers, and grew into a passion for Technicolor, Hays Code movies, and B-picture science fiction. This has led to a career in film preservation and post-production, as well as this blog. When not writing about movies, Anne Marie can be found working on movies, talking about movies, or watching movies. She also has several other hobbies and occasionally goes outside.

Hi Anne Marie! I’m new to your blog, so I don’t know if you’ve covered this particular remake already … but what about Father of the Bride? Spencer Tracey VS Steve Martin? Please, don’t make me choose!

Love your blog, btw. Looking forward to exploring 🙂
